Neighborhood Services, led by the Community Program Manager, represents a comprehensive strategy that strengthens the concept of community investment. The Program Manager creates opportunities for residents and neighborhood organizations to access education and resources that enhance livability and sustainability while fostering a suitable living environment.

The Program Manager also continues to provide technical assistance to neighborhood organizations to promote effective communication. In addition, the Program Manager organizes and participates in several key events that have become signature activities for the Community Development Department. The Community Development Department (CDD) also celebrates National Community Development Week (CD Week) by hosting a variety of events and activities.
